Tioman Dive Resort on Tioman Island
Welcome to the tropical paradise of Tioman Island in Malaysia, a laid back island with lush tropical forests right on the shores of the South China Sea.
Tioman Dive Resort aka TDR offers some of the highest quality accommodation on the island. Expect spacious, comfy and clean rooms with all the amenities you would normally only expect in a city hotel including 5 star hotel bedding.
Though TDR is owned by B&J, one of the longest established dive operations in Asia, many of our guests are non-divers who simply enjoy the island, like to go snorkelling or might even want to give scuba diving a try.
B&J Dormitories is also run by TDR and is a budget friendly accommodation option offering shared rooms.

HOW TO SPEND YOUR TIME ON TIOMAN ISLAND
Scuba Diving
As a PADI 5 Star Diving Centre we offer all PADI scuba diving courses including try-out diving (Discover Scuba Diving) and beginner courses (Open Water Diver).
Certified divers can join our daily dive trips to some of the best dive sites around Tioman.
Snorkelling & Swimming
The South China Sea is accessible right from the dive centre, less than 30m away from your room. You can either snorkel from shore, or book a snorkelling trip with some local operators for instance to renown Coral Island.
Hiking
You can self-hike directly from our resort for instance to Monkey Bay or Juara Beach. Alternatively we can arrange a guided tour that brings you to see chameleons and the famous Rafflesia plant.
Other Activities
Other activities on Tioman include renting a bike or motorbike and explore the main village Tekek, book round the island boat trip or simply relax at the sea side.

Tioman has a lot to offer for novice as well as experienced divers. We're the perfect place if you want to learn to dive or enhance your diving skills and our dive guides will show you the wonders of Tioman. Expect a myriad of marine life on various dive sites with vast coral reef gardens, huge granite boulders covered in life and swim throughs.
Our dive seasons are from early February until middle of November with the best dive conditions usually expected in March-May and Sept-Nov.

Tioman Dive Resort is located in a village called Air Batang (aka ABC Bay) on Tioman Island in Malaysia.
Travelling to Tioman Island is quite straight forward but it will take some time. First comes an overland transport to one of the ferry ports (Mersing or Tanjung Gemok) and then a ferry ride to ABC, which is usually the 4th ferry stop.
